Every Friday, you're invited to watch a great movie (subtitled in English) and hear French, Italian, Portuguese or Spanish. Be at the Old Horticulture auditorium (OHB 206) at 5:00 for:

INDIGENES (Jan 18) - Tells the tale of a group of African soldiers who join the French to fight against the Nazis. Although they battle to defend France, they face daily humiliation within the French army. (F)

DURVAL DISCOS (Jan 25) – Durval is a 30-something man who owns a record store and still lives with his mother. He convinces his mother to hire a maid, which will drastically change their lives. (P)

LA FAUTE À FIDEL (Feb 1) -A 9-year-old girl weathers big changes in her household as her parents become radical political activists in Paris in the early 1970s. (F)

VOCES INOCENTES (Feb 8) – The drama of a young boy who must choose between enlisting in the Salvadoran army or joining the guerrillas. (S)

CATERINA VA IN CITTÀ (Feb 15) – When her father is transferred to Rome from the small town of Montalto Di Castro, Caterina discovers a politically divided world. (I)

BENJAMIM (Feb 22) –Benjamim Zambraia is a lonely man with a tragic past. One day, he casually meets a woman who looks like his former love. Could she be the daughter of his great love? (P)

CAUTIVA (Feb 29) – An Argentinean teenage girl is told that her parents are not her biological parents; instead, she discovers that she was taken from a revolutionary couple during Videla's dictatorship. (S)

CABRA CEGA (Mar 14) Fighting against dictatorship in Brazil, Thiago is wounded and isolated in another man's apartment, where he meets Rosa. Together they continue to fight against the regime. (P)

AMAR TE DUELE (Mar 21) – Renata is a young high-class girl and Ulisses is a poor guy. They fall in love but Renata's rich parents try to keep them apart by sending Renata to Canada. (S)

MON MEILLEUR AMI (Mar 28) – Catherine cannot believe that her business partner, François, has a best friend. François hires a charming taxi driver to play the part. (F)

BUFO & SPALLANZANI (Apr 4) – Ivan is a writer who investigates deaths involving Bufo Marinus, a frog poison that causes catalepsy. As he writes a novel, dark secrets of his life are revealed. (P)

LA DOUBLURE (Apr 11) – The tale of a billionaire industrialist who is caught on camera with his mistress by paparazzi. To avoid a messy divorce, he invents an outrageous lie. (F)
